Job Title: Maths Tutor

Job Duties:

• Deliver engaging and effective mathematics tutoring sessions to students
• Assess students' learning needs and develop personalised teaching plans
• Provide clear explanations of mathematical concepts and principles
• Offer support and guidance to students to enhance their understanding and performance
• Monitor student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly

Qualifications:

• Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or related field
• Teaching qualification such as a PGCE (Postgraduate Certificate in Education) or equivalent
• Demonstrated expertise in mathematics and a passion for teaching

Experience:

• Prior experience in tutoring or teaching mathematics
• Experience working with students of varying abilities

Knowledge and Skills:

• Strong understanding of mathematical concepts and principles
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit individual learning styles
• Patience and empathy in working with students
