Maths Teacher – Wigan – Starting January 2024

We are seeking a dedicated Maths Teacher to join a secondary school in the Wigan area, starting in January 2024. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator to teach mathematics across KS3 and KS4, inspiring students to reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and effective maths lessons
  • Track student progress and provide constructive feedback
  • Support students of varying abilities, ensuring all reach their academic goals
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the maths curriculum

What We’re Looking For:

  • UK QTS and a relevant degree in mathematics or a related subject
  • Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage students
  • A commitment to promoting a positive learning environment
  • Experience teaching at secondary level is preferred

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
