Job description

Maths Teacher – Full-Time Position at a Secondary School in Wigan

We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed Maths Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in Wigan. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire students and help them achieve their full potential in mathematics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and dynamic Maths lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • Plan and deliver lessons that cater to a range of abilities and learning styles.
  • Support student progress through regular assessment, feedback, and targeted intervention.
  • Work collaboratively with the Maths department to promote high standards of learning and achievement.
  • Encourage a passion for mathematics and problem-solving among students.

What We’re Looking For:

  • A qualified Maths Teacher with UK QTS (Qualified Teacher Status).
  • Strong subject knowledge and a commitment to helping students succeed.
  • Excellent classroom management skills with the ability to engage and motivate students.
  • A proactive, adaptable, and team-oriented approach to teaching.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
