Maths Teacher Opportunity – Wigan

Are you a dedicated and fully qualified Maths teacher searching for your next role? We are looking for an enthusiastic Maths Teacher to join a dynamic secondary school in Wigan, starting October 2024.

Role Overview: As a Maths Teacher, you’ll be responsible for delivering engaging lessons to students across Key Stages 3 and 4. Your goal will be to spark an interest in mathematics and guide students towards achieving their best.

Key Duties:

  • Design and deliver lessons that meet the needs of students at different ability levels.
  • Regularly assess and monitor student progress, offering feedback and additional support where needed.
  • Create lesson plans and schemes of work that align with the national curriculum.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive classroom atmosphere that motivates students to succeed.

What We’re Looking For:

  • A fully qualified teacher with QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) in the UK.
  • Deep knowledge of Maths and a passion for teaching.
  • Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage students effectively.
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development and excellence in education.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
