Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality Maths lessons tailored to meet the needs of students with SEMH challenges.
- Develop and implement engaging and differentiated lesson plans that cater to a variety of learning styles.
- Monitor and track student progress, providing regular feedback and support to help them achieve their academic goals.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and external agencies to support student development and well-being.
- Contribute to the wider school community through participation in extracurricular activities and school events.
- Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes mutual respect and a love of learning.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Proven experience teaching Maths, preferably within an SEMH or special education setting.
- Strong understanding of the challenges faced by students with social, emotional, and mental health needs.
- Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to engage and inspire students.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and a passion for educational excellence.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a dedicated team.
