Job description

Are you an experienced Maths teacher looking for a new and exciting role in education?

Do you have experience working with students with challenging behavior and SEMH?

One of our partnership secondary Pupil referral Units (PRU) are looking for a maths teacher to start with them as soon as possible.

In this role you will:

  • Plan and prepare motivating and engaging lessons for children with behavioral needs and EHCP plans
  • Record and assess children’s learning and development
  • Build relationships with children and engage them in their learning
  • Differentiate learning to include and support the needs of all children.

The ideal Maths Teacher will have:

  • Fully qualified Teacher status (QTS)
  • Experience working with children with SEN/SEMH
  • A kind and caring approach to working with children with SEN
  • The ability to be proactive and engage with children with SEN

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
