Job description
Teaching Personnel is currently recruiting for a Maths Teacher to join one of our client schools in Hyde, for a full-time position, starting in January.
Key information about this role:
- Start date: 6th of January 2024.
- Salary: Throughout this role, you will be paid in line with your Teacher Pay Scale, (between £31,650 and £49,084 per annum).
- This role will be full time.
- The school is located in Hyde, easy to commute to by car.
- This role is due to end at the end of the academic year.
- The school is an Ofsted ‘Good’ school.
Through Teaching Personnel, there will be additional opportunities to work in other schools within your local area. Teaching Personnel are currently working with 95% of schools in Greater Manchester, meaning that you will also be considered for alternate roles within your local area.
Throughout this role, you will have the same responsibilities as a permanent member of staff, including planning and marking. The school is an Ofsted ‘good’ school, behaviour is typically not an issue in this school however at times you will be required to ensure that pupils remain on task throughout the lesson.
To be cleared to work through Teaching Personnel, you will have to complete the registration process. This will include:
- Firstly, you will need to apply for a fully enhanced child workforce DBS check, this will ensure that you do not have any criminal convictions that would prevent you from working within a school.
- Once completed, you will be required to put this onto the Update Service to ensure that it remains an active and valid check.
- You will be required to provide a minimum of two employment-based references that will cover the last two years of your working history.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
