MATHS TEACHER

Teaching Personnel are seeking a passionate and confident maths teacher who has exceptional classroom presence and can work well within a team.

At Teaching Personnel Birmingham, we are working closely with a school in the Solihull area to recruit a dedicated and reliable maths teacher. The school are encouraging NQTs, ECTs and experienced maths teachers to apply.

 

The Job Outlined:

  • Full time maths teaching position
  • Teach within a secondary school, KS3 and KS4- ability to teach up to and including A-levels (KS5) is beneficial
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance the Maths department and ensure it is a top performing subject within the school
  • Plan and deliver outstanding maths lessons that engage pupils 
  • Regularly assess pupil progress and provide timely and informative feedback that promotes their learning and development
  • Communicate effectively with parents to raise any concerns or express issues

 

Ideal Candidate:

  • QTS (qualified teacher status) obtained
  • PGCE/Schools direct complete
  • BA Hons Mathematics
  • Previous experience teaching Maths within a secondary school
  • Strong classroom presence and behaviour management techniques

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
