Teacher of Maths

 Preston, Full-Time, Temporary 

Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Maths Teacher to join our team in Preston! As a Maths Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching Mathematics across various key stages, ensuring that students receive high-quality, engaging lessons. You will work within a supportive department, helping to drive the success of our students through innovative teaching methods and a positive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (with potential for KS5 teaching).
  • Develop and implement schemes of work that cater to the diverse needs of students.
  • Monitor and assess student progress and provide feedback to help them achieve their full potential.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Participate in departmental meetings, school events, and extracurricular activities.

Key Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics.
  • Passionate about teaching and supporting students' development.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Experience in teaching Maths at secondary level is preferred, but newly qualified teachers (NQTs) are also encouraged to apply.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
