Maths Teacher - January 2025 Start
Secondary School in Oldham | Temp-to-Perm Position through Teaching Personnel

Teaching Personnel is currently recruiting an enthusiastic and dedicated Maths Teacher on behalf of a thriving secondary school in Oldham, set to begin in January 2025. With a recent Ofsted rating of "Good" and record-breaking GCSE results, this school offers an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students’ learning journeys.

Role Overview
As a Maths Teacher, you will join a supportive team of five within the Maths department, delivering engaging lessons to both KS3 and KS4 students of various abilities. Reporting directly to the Head of Department, you will assist with planning, delivering, and assessing curriculum content, monitor student progress, and help shape development plans to support individual growth. Applications are welcomed from both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs).

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Confident teaching up to GCSE level
  • Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
  • Proficiency in data analysis to support student progress monitoring
  • Adaptability to teach students of varied abilities and class sizes
  • A passion for Mathematics and student success

This is a full-time, temp-to-perm role with a 16-week initial period through Teaching Personnel before transitioning to a permanent contract with the school. All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
