Position: Maths Teacher

Location: Northampton

Position: Secondary Maths Teacher (Short-term and Long-term cover) Location: Secondary Schools across Northampton Salary: Competitive (based on experience and duration) Contract: Flexible – short-term and long-term cover positions available

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and inspiring Maths lessons to KS3 and KS4 students.
  • Follow school curriculum and planning, adapting to the needs of each class.
  • Manage classroom behaviour and create a positive learning environment.
  • Mark and assess students' work, providing constructive feedback.
  • Support students’ individual learning needs and progress.
  • Communicate effectively with staff and parents.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Specialism in Maths, with experience teaching at secondary level (KS3/KS4).
  • Excellent subject knowledge and ability to adapt to various teaching environments.
  • Strong classroom management skills.
  • A passion for education and making a positive impact on students’ academic progress.
