Maths Teacher
Teaching Personnel is seeking a passionate and dedicated Maths Teacher to join our dynamic educational team in Newport. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced teachers or a newly qualified professionals to inspire and motivate students, helping them reach their full potential in Mathematics. The ideal candidate will possess experience and commitment to the role, along with a genuine passion for working with children and young people, as well as a strong understanding of the subject matter and school curriculum.
Responsibilities
- Possess a strong understanding of subject knowledge and curriculum.
- Deliver engaging and high-quality maths lessons to KS3 and KS4 students that align with the curriculum.
- Support and guide students of varying abilities to achieve their learning goals.
- Communicate effectively with parents, pupils, and colleagues regarding student progress and development.
- Monitor and report on student progress, providing additional support where necessary.
Requirements
- A teaching qualification, such as a PGCE or QTS/NQT.
- Proven ability to teach Maths across KS3, KS4, and potentially KS5.
- Enhanced DBS and registered with the Education Workforce Council (EWC)
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
