Job Title: Fully Qualified Maths Teacher (Secondary School)
Location: South Wirral, CH64
Start Date: January 2025
Agency: Teaching Personnel

Salary: £150 - £280 per day (based on experience and pay scales)

Teaching Personnel is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Fully Qualified Maths Teacher to join a successful and good Ofsted secondary school in the Wirral for a January 2025 start. This is a full-time, long-term position, with the potential for a permanent role for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective Maths lessons to students across KS3 and KS4.
  • Plan, prepare, and assess students' work in line with the national curriculum.
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and success.
  • Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and other stakeholders to support student achievement.

Requirements:

  • Must hold UK-recognised Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Previous experience teaching Maths at secondary level is essential.
  • Strong classroom management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate students.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • A genuine passion for teaching Maths and supporting student development.
  • Enhanced DBS certificate and on the update service (or willingness to apply for one)
