Job description

At Teaching Personnel, we are looking to recruit a Maths Teacher for one of our secondary schools in Huddersfield.

Are you passionate about numbers and ready to shape the future? We are looking for an enthusiastic Maths Teacher to join a vibrant school in the Leeds area. ECTs and Fully Qualified teachers with some experience teaching in the UK and a DBS on the update service, are welcome to apply.

Location: Huddersfield

Contract: Full-time

Role Overview: As a Mathematics Teacher, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on students' academic and personal development. You will plan, deliver and assess high-quality lessons, catering to students of varying abilities and ensuring they reach their full potential in mathematics. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who are enthusiastic about mathematics and committed to fostering a love for the subject in young learners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver dynamic mathematics lessons in line with the national curriculum.
  • Differentiate teaching methods to accommodate students with diverse learning needs and abilities.
  • Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued and motivated to succeed.
  • Assess students' progress and provide constructive feedback to support their development.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to the overall success of the mathematics department and school community.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
