Teaching Personnel are working with a school who are an exciting and forward-thinking school located in the heart of Hertfordshire. We are committed to providing a high-quality education for all students, and we are currently looking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic Mathematics Teacher to join the dynamic and supportive teaching team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled and passionate teacher to make a real difference to the educational experience of our students. The successful candidate will teach Mathematics across Key Stages 3 and 4, inspiring students to develop their mathematical thinking and problem-solving skills, while contributing to the ongoing success and growth of our school.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teaching: Delivering engaging and effective mathematics lessons to students in Key Stages 3 and 4 (Years 7-11).
- Planning & Preparation: Developing lesson plans and resources that cater to a wide range of abilities and learning styles, ensuring that all students are challenged and supported.
- Assessment & Feedback: Regularly assessing students’ progress, providing constructive feedback, and using data to inform planning and improve student outcomes.
- Classroom Management: Maintaining high standards of behaviour, creating a positive and productive classroom environment.
- Collaboration: Working closely with the department and wider school staff to deliver an integrated and cohesive curriculum.
- Professional Development: Engaging in ongoing professional development opportunities to improve teaching practice and stay up-to-date with educational developments.
Key Requirements:
- A qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent, with a degree in Mathematics or a related subject.
- Experience teaching Mathematics at KS3 and KS4, with a track record of delivering effective lessons that inspire and challenge students.
- Strong understanding of the Mathematics curriculum and the ability to deliver high-quality, engaging lessons that meet the needs of all students.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- A commitment to promoting the highest standards of achievement and personal development for all students.
- Enthusiasm, dedication, and a passion for teaching mathematics.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
