Maths Teacher required for a secondary school in Havant
About the Role:
We are seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Maths Teacher to join a vibrant secondary school in Havant. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality maths lessons that engage and inspire students across Key Stages 3 and 4. You will work with a dedicated team of teachers to ensure that all students are supported in achieving their full potential, while developing a love for mathematics.

Responsibilities:
- Plan, deliver, and assess engaging maths lessons for students at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
- Use a variety of teaching methods to cater to different learning styles and abilities.
- Monitor and track student progress, offering tailored support to help each pupil achieve their potential.
- Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to the development of the maths curriculum.
- Foster a positive, respectful classroom environment where all students feel valued and motivated.
- Participate in school meetings, parent evenings, and ongoing professional development.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification.
- A degree in Mathematics or a related subject.
- Strong knowledge of the secondary maths curriculum (Key Stage 3 and 4).
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- Passionate about teaching and committed to student achievement.
- A valid DBS on the update service or a willingness to undergo a DBS check.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
