Mathematics Teacher

About the Role:

As a Mathematics teacher, you will:

  • Deliver engaging lessons: Teach across KS3 and KS4, bringing mathematical concepts to life through innovative and interactive teaching methods.
  • Foster a growth mindset: Inspire students to see challenges as opportunities for learning, encouraging resilience and problem-solving skills.
  • Prepare students for success: Equip students with the knowledge and skills they need to excel in their GCSE exams, through tailored revision strategies and exam preparation.
  • Collaborate with the Maths department: Work closely with a dedicated team of colleagues to continually enhance the quality of the curriculum and share best practices.
  • Track and support student progress: Regularly assess student performance, providing feedback and additional support where needed to ensure that each student reaches their full potential.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS): With a specialism in Mathematics or a related subject.
  • Passion for Mathematics: An ability to make the subject accessible and exciting for students of varying abilities.
  • Classroom Management Skills: Confidence in managing a classroom and creating a positive learning environment where all students feel valued.
  • Strong Communication Skills: The ability to communicate mathematical concepts clearly and engage students in their learning journey.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
