Qualified Mathematics Teacher

Start date: January 2025 (Temp to Perm)
Contract: Full Time ideally, but open to part time

We are working closely with a Secondary School situated in a suburb of Bedford, who are recruiting for a Maths Teacher who is available ASAP until Easter or July 2024, whilst the school recruits more permanently.
The role would involve teaching Maths predominantly to Year 7 - Year 11 GCSE classes (KS3/4). A Maths Teacher with at least 1 year experience teaching Maths to GCSE is essential.

Contract
On this full-time contract, you will be treated like a permanent member of staff with access to all CPD opportunities as well as PPA time included on your timetable. You would be paid to the National Teacher Pay Scale salary between M1 - UPS1 on weekly pay for 3 month probation, then salary offer after this period with the school.

The ideal candidate we would like to speak to will possess:
- QTS or PGCE Maths Qualification
- Maths Teacher with at least 1 years experience teaching up to KS4
- Highly knowledgeable in GCSE Geography curriculum
- Be passionate about teaching Geography and promoting learning in Maths for excellent results
- Good or Outstanding classroom practice with high expectations for achievements and behaviour
- Be able to plan and deliver creative and stimulating Geography lessons

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
