Are you passionate about inspiring young minds and fostering a love of mathematics? A thriving mainstream secondary school in Andover is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic full-time Maths Teacher to join their dynamic team in September 2024.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality maths instruction to students across various year groups, following the national curriculum.
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to different learning styles and abilities.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their academic growth.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Participate in departmental meetings, professional development, and contribute to the school’s extra-curricular activities.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • A degree in Mathematics or a related field.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching maths in a secondary school setting.
  • Strong subject knowledge and a commitment to continuous professional development.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
