Teaching Personnel is recruiting a Maths Intervention Tutor for a secondary school in Tameside. This role involves working closely with students who need additional support in maths, helping them build confidence and improve their skills. It’s a fantastic opportunity to make a significant impact on student achievement.
Responsibilities:
- Individual and Group Support: Provide one-on-one and small group tutoring in maths, focusing on key skills and concepts.
- Progress Assessment: Regularly assess students' understanding, identifying areas for improvement and adapting instruction accordingly.
- Goal Setting and Encouragement: Help students set academic goals and celebrate their progress, fostering a growth mindset.
- Collaborate with Staff: Work with maths teachers to align tutoring with the curriculum and provide additional classroom support as needed.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
