Job Title: Maths Intervention Specialist

Job Duties:
- Provide targeted maths intervention to students to improve their mathematical skills
- Create and implement individualised learning plans to address specific areas of improvement
- Monitor and assess student progress through regular assessments and adjust intervention strategies as needed
- Collaborate with teachers and parents to ensure a holistic approach to student development
- Maintain accurate records of intervention sessions and student progress
Required Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Specialist knowledge in mathematics education
- Experience in delivering effective intervention strategies
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or related field
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in education, with a focus on maths intervention
Knowledge and Skills:
- Deep understanding of the UK national curriculum for mathematics
- Ability to engage and motivate students with varying learning styles
- Proficient in using data to inform instructional decisions
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications:
- Postgraduate qualification in Education or Mathematics
- Experience working with students with diverse learning needs
Working Conditions:
- Work primarily in a school setting
- Full-Time hours, Monday to Friday
- Potential for occasional evening or weekend work for parent meetings or school events

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
