Job Title: Part Time Maths Cover Supervisor

Location:

South East England, Buckinghamshire, High Wycombe

Job Type:

Temporary, expected to work Part-Time hours

Qualifications:

Degree

Job Duties:

  • Supervise and manage classroom activities in the absence of the regular Maths teacher
  • Implement pre-prepared lesson plans and ensure smooth running of lessons
  • Support students in understanding mathematical concepts and assist with any questions or challenges
  • Maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students
  • Manage student behaviour and ensure classroom discipline is maintained

Required Qualifications:

Degree in Mathematics or related field

Education:

Minimum of a degree in Mathematics or a related subject

Experience:

Prior experience working in a school setting preferred

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong understanding of mathematical concepts and curriculum
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage classroom dynamics and ensure a productive learning environment
  • Organisational skills and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications:

Teaching qualification or experience in a similar role

Working Conditions:

Part-Time hours, working in a secondary school setting, temporary contract

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
