Teaching Personnel are seeking a passionate and dedicated Year 2 Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Sunderland to cover a maternity leave. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive school environment with a small and well-behaved class of 16 pupils.

About the Role:

• Year 2 class with 16 pupils

• Maternity cover starting Summer Term 2 and extending into the next academic year

• Full-time position

• Strong support from senior leadership and experienced staff

Who We're Looking For:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK

• Enthusiastic and committed to high standards of teaching and learning

• Excellent classroom management skills

• ECTs are very welcome to apply – the school are open to supporting Early Career Teachers through their induction if applicable
