Our client, a thriving secondary academy based in Milton Keynes, is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Life Skills and Humanities Teacher to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for both experienced educators and early-career teachers who are committed to delivering high-quality education and pastoral support.
About the Role:
You will be responsible for delivering engaging and impactful lessons across Life Skills (PSHE, Citizenship, Careers) and Humanities subjects (Geography, History, RE). The role involves supporting students' personal development, resilience, and understanding of the wider world. You will work collaboratively with a supportive staff team and pastoral leads, contributing to the wider school ethos and extracurricular activities where appropriate.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

QTS or equivalent teaching qualification (essential)

Experience teaching secondary students, ideally across Life Skills and/or Humanities

A strong commitment to student welfare, inclusion, and holistic education

Excellent communication and classroom management skills

Flexibility, enthusiasm, and a proactive approach to teaching and learning
