Level 3 Teaching Assistant – Sheffield & Barnsley
Are you a dedicated and passionate Level 3 Teaching Assistant looking for new opportunities in Sheffield and Barnsley? We’re currently supporting a range of primary and secondary schools seeking experienced TAs to join their teams immediately and from September!
Location: Sheffield & Barnsley
Role: Level 3 Teaching Assistant
Start Date: ASAP & September 2025
⏰ Contract: Full-Time / Part-Time | Temporary, Long-Term & Temp-to-Perm Roles Available
✏️ Your Responsibilities Will Include:
- Supporting the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons
- Working 1:1 or in small groups with pupils, including those with additional needs
- Helping prepare learning materials and classroom resources
- Encouraging positive behaviour and active learning
- Supporting the emotional and social development of students
✅ Requirements:
- Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
- Previous experience in a school setting
- A patient, caring, and adaptable approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A current DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
