Level 3 Teaching Assistant
Job description
Are you a skilled and compassionate teaching assistant ready to support students’ learning and development? We are seeking a dedicated Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant team, and support the local secondary schools in Rochdale.
Key Responsibilities:

Assist teachers in planning and delivering engaging lessons.

Provide targeted support to students, including those with additional learning needs.

Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Support the preparation of classroom resources and materials.
-
Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers.
-
Supervise students during lessons, break times, and extracurricular activities.
-
Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and contribute to school activities.
Qualifications and Experience:
-
Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.

Experience working with children in an educational setting.
-
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
-
Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.
-
A commitment to supporting student achievement and well-being.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
