Level 3 Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join our dynamic secondary school team in Rochdale. As a key member of our educational support staff, you will work closely with both teachers and students to create a positive and supportive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting the class teacher in the delivery of lessons and activities
- Assisting with individual and group learning sessions
- Providing additional support to students with additional needs
- Helping to create and maintain a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment
- Monitoring and tracking student progress, providing feedback where necessary
- Building strong relationships with students, staff, and parents
Essential Requirements:
- Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
- Experience working in a school setting (preferably with secondary-aged children)
- A passion for education and helping children achieve their potential
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
- Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection policies
- A proactive, positive, and flexible approach to work

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
