Level 3 Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join our dynamic secondary school team in Rochdale. As a key member of our educational support staff, you will work closely with both teachers and students to create a positive and supportive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supporting the class teacher in the delivery of lessons and activities
• Assisting with individual and group learning sessions
• Providing additional support to students with additional needs
• Helping to create and maintain a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment
• Monitoring and tracking student progress, providing feedback where necessary
• Building strong relationships with students, staff, and parents

Essential Requirements:

• Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
• Experience working in a school setting (preferably with secondary-aged children)
• A passion for education and helping children achieve their potential
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
• Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection policies
• A proactive, positive, and flexible approach to work
