Job description
We are looking for an experienced Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join our team. If you're passionate about education and enjoy helping both teachers and students succeed, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individual and group support to students, including those with additional needs.
- Help plan and deliver lessons with the class teacher.
- Lead small groups to support literacy, numeracy, and other subjects.
- Assist with student assessments and give feedback on their progress.
- Support classroom behavior and help maintain a positive learning environment.
- Assist with the social and emotional development of students.
- Work with teachers and staff to ensure a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment.
- Help prepare teaching materials and classroom displays.
Requirements:
- Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).
- Proven experience as a Teaching Assistant, preferably in a school setting.
- Good understanding of the national curriculum and working with children with special educational needs (SEN).
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work well as part of a team and independently.
- Patience, flexibility, and a genuine interest in working with children.
Desirable Skills:
- Experience supporting students with SEN or challenging behavior.
- Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection policies.
- First Aid certification (preferred but not required).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
