Level 3 Teaching Assistant
Job description
Teaching Personnel are looking for a Level 3 Teaching Assistant to work in a Primary School in Eastbourne. As well as supporting the schools we work with, we also invest in the learning and development of our educators; providing free courses, webinars and information packs to ensure you can grow and develop in your career whilst you work with us.
We are currently supporting a school in Eastbourne in finding a Level 3 Teaching Assistant to work across year groups with some class cover when required. This role may suit an ECT who is looking for further experience in the classroom before securing their first teaching role.
Details:
- Full time (Mon-Fri school hours)
- 1:1 and general classroom support
- Some class cover when required
- Level 3 Teaching Assistant Qualification required (or above)
We are looking for applicants who…
- Have experience working in primary schools as a level 3 TA or above
- Have up to date knowledge of safeguarding and Keeping Children Safe in Education (although this is preferred, free training can be provided)
- Are resilient and patient and able to handle challenging situations professionally
- Are passionate about working with children and making a difference
- Have an excellent work ethic with the ability to work individually and within a team
- Have the ability to tailor teaching and learning techniques to a variety of different levels and needs
- Are reliable with a high level of professionalism at all times
Rate of pay is £12.90-£14.50 per hour depending on experience and qualifications.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
