Role Level: Level 3 Teaching Assistant
Location: Blackburn, BB2 4NW
Hours: Monday to Friday | 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM
Pay Rate: £13.75 per hour
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Type: Ongoing, full-time placement
Are you a dedicated and experienced Level 3 Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding role in a supportive and inclusive school environment? We are currently recruiting on behalf of a welcoming mainstream school in the BB2 area of Blackburn. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful impact on pupils’ education and development.
Key Responsibilities:

Work alongside the class teacher to support learning activities.

Provide targeted support to individual pupils and small groups.

Assist in managing classroom behaviour in line with the school's policies.

Support pupils with additional needs, including SEN.
-
Help with the preparation of classroom resources and learning materials.
Requirements:

Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning (or equivalent).

Recent experience in a classroom setting, preferably in primary or SEN.

A patient, proactive, and flexible attitude.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

A current enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
