Job Title: Level 3 Practitioner

Location: Woodley

Job Type: Permanent

Hours: 36 hours per week (8:00 am - 3:45 pm, Monday to Thursday; 8:00 am - 3:30 pm, Friday)

Start Date: September 3rd, 2024

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and proactive Level 3 Practitioner to join our dedicated team of early years professionals at our nursery in Woodley. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and education to our children, while working closely with parents and colleagues to ensure the best possible outcomes for our children.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and stimulating activities that meet the needs of individual children, including those with special educational needs and disabilities
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with parents and carers, keeping them informed about their child's progress and achievements
  • Work collaboratively with other practitioners to ensure seamless transitions and a smooth handover of care
  • Contribute to the planning, preparation, and evaluation of activities, ensuring they are aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
  • Identify and address any areas for improvement in the nursery, suggesting solutions and implementing changes as needed
  • Maintain accurate records of children's progress, including observations, assessments, and progress reports
  • Support the nursery management team in maintaining a safe, clean, and organized environment

Requirements:

  • Level 3 qualification in Childcare or equivalent
  • Experience working with young children (0-5 years)
  • Proven ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to think creatively and problem-solve
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to data protection protocols
  • Willingness to take on additional responsibilities and contribute to the growth and development of the nursery

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
