A well-regarded, Ofsted-rated GOOD primary school in Reading is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join their permanent staff from January 2025. The successful candidate will work closely with teachers to support the learning and development of pupils across all year groups.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the planning and delivery of engaging lessons.
- Provide one-on-one and small group support to students.
- Support the social and emotional development of pupils.
- Help manage classroom behavior and ensure a positive learning environment.
- Collaborate with teachers to monitor pupil progress and adapt support accordingly.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role.
- A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their educational journey.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, adaptability, and a positive attitude.
- An understanding of safeguarding and child protection policies.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
