An Ofsted-rated GOOD primary school in Winchester is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join their permanent staff team starting in January 2025. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting teachers in delivering high-quality education and helping students reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting the classroom teacher with lesson preparation and classroom management.
- Providing one-on-one or small group support to students who require additional help.
- Supporting students with special educational needs (SEN) to ensure they are fully included in all activities.
- Encouraging positive behaviour and promoting the school’s values.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children, preferably in an educational setting.
- A relevant qualification (e.g., Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant or equivalent).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
- A genuine passion for working with children and helping them succeed.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
