Level 2 Teaching Assistant - Newcastle
Are you ready to make a difference in young learners' lives? We’re looking for a dedicated Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join schools in Newcastle starting January 6th.
The Role
As a Teaching Assistant, you’ll:
- Support pupils’ learning in small groups and one-to-one settings.
- Assist teachers with lesson preparation and classroom activities.
- Help create a positive, inclusive environment for all students.
- Work with children with additional needs, ensuring they feel supported and valued.
What We’re Looking For
To excel in this role, you’ll need:
- A Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).
- Experience working with children in a school or similar setting.
- Great communication skills and a positive attitude.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting children’s welfare (you’ll need an up-to-date DBS or be willing to apply for one).

- Pay: Competitive daily rate between £85 and £100, based on experience.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
