Job Description:
As a Lesson Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising classes during the absence of the regular teacher. You will ensure that students stay engaged and on task, manage behavior, and assist with any learning queries while delivering pre-set work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise students during lessons, creating a positive and focused learning environment
- Deliver pre-prepared lessons and activities in the teacher’s absence
- Assist students with their tasks and provide support where necessary
- Manage classroom behavior in line with the school’s policies
- Report lesson outcomes and any concerns to the teaching staff
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all students
Requirements:
- Experience in a school environment or working with young people is advantageous but not essential
- Strong communication and classroom management skills
- Calm, adaptable, and proactive in managing different situations
- Passionate about education and supporting student learning
- Eligible to work in the UK
- Willing to undergo a DBS check (or hold a valid one)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
