Learning Support Assistant (LSA)

Location: Portsmouth

Salary: £12.90 per hour (National Living Wage)

Are you a resilient, energetic, and adaptable individual with experience working with children? We are seeking a Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to support our Special Educational Needs (SEN) schools in the Portsmouth area. 

The Role:

• Supporting students in their learning and personal development.
• Working closely with teachers and support staff to create a positive learning environment.
• Helping students manage challenges and re-engage with education.
• This will include 1:1 or group work
• Showing a flexibility to the varied demands of the job

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous experience working with children in an educational or other supportive setting.
• Strong resilience and the ability to adapt to different situations.
• A proactive and energetic approach to working with young people.
