Primary Teaching Assistant – Barry Area

Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated, motivated, and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Teaching Assistant in the Barry area.

No previous teaching experience required!

Position Details:

• Working Hours: Monday to Friday, from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm.
• Location: Barry - Vale of Glamorgan

Role Responsibilities:

• Support the classroom teacher in delivering engaging lessons.
• Create a stimulating and positive learning environment where children can thrive.
• Build strong, supportive relationships with students.
• Ensure a safe and nurturing space for students to develop and grow.
• Offer constructive feedback to encourage students’ learning progress.
• Foster a child-centred approach to education.
• Manage potentially challenging behaviour with patience and understanding.
