Primary Teaching Assistant – Barry Area

Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated, motivated, and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Teaching Assistant in the Barry area.
No previous teaching experience required!
Position Details:
- Working Hours: Monday to Friday, from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm.
- Location: Barry - Vale of Glamorgan
Role Responsibilities:
- Support the classroom teacher in delivering engaging lessons.
- Create a stimulating and positive learning environment where children can thrive.
- Build strong, supportive relationships with students.
- Ensure a safe and nurturing space for students to develop and grow.
- Offer constructive feedback to encourage students’ learning progress.
- Foster a child-centred approach to education.
- Manage potentially challenging behaviour with patience and understanding.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
