Job Advertisement: Learning Support Assistant – SEN Provisions (Spilsby, Lincolnshire)

We are currently seeking a Learning Support Assistant to join a supportive and dynamic team working in SEN provisions in Spilsby, Lincolnshire. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals looking to make a real difference in the lives of children while developing their career in education.

Key Details:

  • Position: Learning Support Assistant

  • Location: Spilsby, Lincolnshire

  • Working Hours: 08:30 – 15:30 (Term time only)

  • Availability: Full-time availability required

  • Pay: Starting at £90 per day with potential for increase based on performance and experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Supporting children with special educational needs on a 1:1 and group basis.

  • Assisting with lesson delivery and helping to create an inclusive learning environment.

  • Helping students to develop their independence and build confidence in their abilities.

  • Working closely with teaching staff and other professionals to ensure the needs of students are met effectively.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with children, particularly those with SEN, is desirable but not essential.

  • A compassionate and patient attitude, with a genuine interest in making a positive impact on students’ lives.

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.

  • A proactive and adaptable approach to supporting students in their learning journey.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
