Learning Support Assistant (LSA) – Poole

Are you passionate about supporting students and making a difference in their education? We are currently recruiting Learning Support Assistants to work in secondary schools across Poole and the surrounding areas.

Teaching Personnel provides schools with both temporary cover and permanent members of staff who are dedicated to supporting students of all abilities. Working with us allows you to enjoy a flexible work schedule while developing valuable skills to further your career in education.

Previous experience is not essential to be considered for this role, though experience working with children in any setting is highly desirable. Applicants must be willing to apply for a child-only DBS if they do not already have one registered on the update service.

Start date: ASAP
Contract types available: Temporary, Permanent, and Day-to-Day
Pay: £77-100 per day

What we are looking for:

  • Enthusiastic, confident, and self-motivated individuals with a passion for education

  • Strong behaviour management skills

  • Experience working with children in a classroom or similar environment

  • Reliable, punctual candidates who are willing to go the extra mile

Successful candidates will have a strong desire to support students in reaching their full potential and will ideally have experience working with children, particularly in a secondary school setting. Strong communication, literacy, and numeracy skills are essential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
