Learning Support Assistant’s, we need you!

Teaching Personnel are on currently recruiting for LSA’s and teaching assistants to work 1:1 with students or with small groups in secondary schools within Poole. LSA’s and TA’s have such an important role within schools as they are there to create a supportive and positive learning environment for children with special educational need or individuals who need a little bit of extra help. Depending on the child’s need, this role could be you assisting with reading or writing not only behaviour management.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Preferably have recent experience working with children.
  • Be patient & empathetic whilst able to encourage students to achieve their best.
  • Look to make a difference in a young adult’s life.
  • Be an imaginative, problem solver and good communicator.

We have a variety of different secondary school’s that are currently looking for LSA’s/teaching assistant roles on a full time and part time basis, so whatever your looking for we can help.

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH TEACHING PERSONNEL, YOU MUST:

  • Hold Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to apply for one
  • Provide two professional references covering the last 2 years (child based work is preferred)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
