Teaching Personnel are seeking SEN Learning Support Assistants required for one of our Partner Primary Schools located in Kensington and Chelsea.
About The Role:
There are full-time and part-time positions available to support young children with a range of complex needs such as Autism, ADHD, Global Learning Delay, Down-Syndrome and Speech and Language Communication Needs. You will be required to:
- Provide 1:1 support to a pupil and deliver 1:1 intervention sessions to improve pupil attainment
- Observe and monitor pupil progress and provide feedback
- Ensure that the pupil is able to complete tasks in an appropriate manner
- Ensure that the pupil interacts appropriately with his peers and adults
About The School:
This is large multi-cultural Primary School located near Notting Hill/ Ladbroke grove Underground Station It is an Ofsted rated 'Outsanding' Primary School that operates across two different building sites but work collectively as one school.
This is a progressive Primary School whereby Teaching Assistants become Teachers and Teachers become Leaders so this is the perfect opportunity for graduates who are considering pursuing a career within Education.
The ideal candidate:
- At least 3 months experience working with children with special educational needs
- At least 3 months classroom based experience
- Good spoken and written English
- Flexible and able to work across all Primary ages
- A valid DBS that is registered on the update service or willing to complete an application immediately

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
