Job description

Are you a friendly individual seeking a full-time role in education?

Teaching Personnel are working with a lovely SEN School looking to bolster their excellent team of staff due to a recent expansion. The provision is highly reputable for its facilities which accommodate pupils on the autistic spectrum.

Many of the pupils are high functioning and go on to achieve GCSE level qualifications in a range of subjects, including Art, Food Tech, Music, Performing arts as well as core subjects.

The curriculum is designed in a way which challenges pupils, fosters curiosity and allows them to hone in on specific subjects they have developed a passion for; as a learning support assistant, you will play a pivotal role in helping them discover these passions and overcoming any obstacles preventing them from going above and beyond their potential!

We are looking for individuals who;
• Have a huge passion for helping others succeed (Particularly those with special needs)
• Are sporty, academically curious and creative minded - People who can motivate pupils to engage in lessons and find their true callings!
• Can be Resilience yet nurturing, challenging pupils academically and rewarding success with positive reinforcement
• Have some experience in coaching, childcare, education, activity clubs, SEN experience or care/support work


We can offer you;
Excellent starting salary: £21,020 per annum – which includes full pay over half terms and bank holidays!
Full-time/Permanent Employment: In an excellent School with clear progression opportunities and a welcoming team of staff
A friendly consultant: With a proven track record of assisting candidates through the interview process and securing permanent placements within the school

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
