Learning Support Assistant
Hampton (Twickenham)
Full Time - September 2024 start 

  • ·  To work one to one with a named pupil in KS2
  • ·  Term time only (39 weeks)

We are seeking a Learning Support Assistant to join a happy, thriving and successful primary school based in Hampton.
Good levels of literacy and numeracy, experience with SEN, and the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, parents and SEN professionals is a requirement, as is a passion for and commitment to working with children with special needs.

  • This post would suit an experienced Teaching Assistant or an aspiring teacher and would provide an excellent opportunity to acquire the skills and experience necessary to apply for teacher training.
  • Ideally a qualification in childcare but not essential
  • Experience in a school environment but not essential. Literacy skills to complete accident forms, read policies, e.g. Health and Safety, confidentiality, school rules.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
