About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Learning Support Assistant to join a secondary school in Glossop. This role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on students' learning experiences by providing tailored support to students with a range of educational needs.

Responsibilities include:

• Supporting students on a one-to-one basis or in small groups, ensuring they achieve their learning goals.
• Assisting teachers in adapting the curriculum to meet the needs of individual students.
• Providing emotional and behavioural support, helping students to develop confidence and independence.
• Working closely with the SEN team to monitor progress and develop strategies to support students’ needs.
• Ensuring a safe and supportive learning environment for all students.

About You:

• Experience working with children or young people in an educational setting is preferred, but not essential.
• A passion for supporting students with additional learning needs.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
• A commitment to promoting inclusion and helping all students reach their full potential.
• Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification) would be an advantage but not essential.
