Job Title: Learning Support Assistant
Location: South East England, Surrey, Croydon
Job Type: Contract, Full-Time
Primary Industry: Education and Training
Salary: £90 - £100 Per day
Job Description:
Job Duties:
- Provide support to students with learning difficulties or disabilities in a classroom setting
- Assist teachers in implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for students
- Help students to develop their academic, social, and personal skills
- Provide one-on-one support to students as needed
- Assist with classroom management and behaviour management
Required Qualifications:
- GCSEs or equivalent qualifications in English and Maths
- Experience working with children or young adults
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Education:
- Relevant training or qualifications in learning support or special education
Experience:
- Experience working in a similar role within an educational setting
Knowledge and Skills:
- Understanding of different learning difficulties and disabilities
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Patience and empathy when working with students
Preferred Qualifications:
- Level 3 Award in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools
- First Aid certification
Working Conditions:
- Work hours: Full-Time, Monday to Friday
- Work environment: Classroom setting within a school
- May require the ability to lift and carry equipment or assist students with mobility

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
