Teaching Personnel is looking for motivated and dedicated Teaching Assistants to work in a mainstream primary school in Camberley, Surrey. This is a great opportunity to support the learning and development of students in a supportive and dynamic classroom environment.

The role itself would involve 1-1 support with a student in year 5 who can offer some behavioural challenges. We are seeking a highly motivated and resilient individual to come and build a relationship with this student at the earliest opportunity.

Key Responsibilities:
• Providing 1:1 support to a student with additional learning needs.
• Helping to manage classroom behaviour and create a positive learning environment.
• Supporting the student in completing assigned work and encouraging independent learning.
• Monitoring student progress and reporting any concerns to the class teacher.

Key Requirements:
• Passion for education and helping students succeed.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with young people.
• Patience, empathy, and a positive approach to supporting students.
• Previous experience working with children or in an educational setting is important
• A willingness to learn and develop new skills (training can be provided).
