Learning Support Assistant
Caerphilly
£80 - £100 per day
8:15 – 3:30

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of students? A well-established and nurturing school in Caerphilly is seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join our vibrant team.
The Role:
As an LSA, you’ll play a key role in supporting students across various year groups, working closely with teachers to provide tailored support for individuals or small groups. You’ll be instrumental in helping students with additional learning needs, ensuring they have the resources and encouragement to succeed. No two days are the same, and your impact will be both significant and rewarding. They are a forward-thinking secondary school located just outside Caerphilly, known for fostering strong, positive relationships between staff and students. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide classroom support to ensure all students are engaged and learning effectively.
- Work one-on-one or with small groups to assist students with their academic, social, and emotional development.
- Collaborate with teachers to implement individual learning plans and strategies.
- Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere in line with our school’s values.
About You:
- Previous experience in a similar role or a passion for supporting young people
- Have an enhanced DBS and be registered with the Education Workforce Council (EWC)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A flexible, positive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt.
- A commitment to helping students achieve their full potential in a supportive and caring environment.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
