Location: Bournemouth
Contract Type: Full-time, with the potential for a permanent position

Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join one of our outstanding partner schools in Bournemouth.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Supporting Students: Provide tailored one-on-one and small group assistance to students with diverse learning needs.
  • Collaborating with Teachers: Assist in creating and implementing personalized learning plans that help students achieve their full potential.
  • Promoting Inclusion: Encourage a welcoming and inclusive environment where all students feel supported and valued.
  • Tracking Progress: Monitor student achievements, celebrate successes, and identify areas for improvement.
  • Encouraging Independence: Help students develop confidence and self-reliance in their learning journey.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience: Prior experience in a similar role is advantageous, but enthusiasm and a willingness to learn are equally important!
  • Skills: Excellent communication, patience, and a caring attitude. Knowledge of special educational needs (SEN) is a bonus.
  • Flexibility: Ready to adapt to new challenges and opportunities as they arise.
  • Commitment: A genuine passion for education and supporting students to achieve their best.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
