Job Title: English and Maths KS3 SEN Tutor

Job Duties:
- Provide tailored English and Maths tutoring to Key Stage 3 students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
- Create individualised learning plans to support the academic progress of SEN students
- Adapt teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support as needed
- Collaborate with school staff and parents to ensure holistic support for SEN students
Required Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Specialist knowledge in English and Maths curriculum for Key Stage 3
- Experience working with students with Special Educational Needs
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience, specifically with SEN students
Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong understanding of SEN teaching strategies and best practises
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to create engaging and inclusive learning environments
- Proficiency in assessing student needs and adapting teaching methods accordingly
Working Conditions:
Part-Time hours, flexible schedule, work primarily in a home setting with SEN students, potential for remote tutoring

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
