Job Title: KS3 SEN Outreach Tutor
Location: East of England, Essex, Braintree
Job Type: Temporary, Part-Time

Salary: £20 - £30 Per hour
Job Description:
Job Duties:
- Provide specialised English and Maths tutoring for Key Stage 3 students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
- Develop individualised learning plans to support students' academic progress and personal development
- Deliver engaging and interactive lessons both in-person and through online platforms
- Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting teaching methods as needed
- Collaborate with school staff and parents to ensure a holistic approach to student support
Required Qualifications:
- A recognised teaching qualification in English and Maths
- Experience working with students with SEN
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs
Education, Experience, Knowledge, and Skills:
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
- At least 2 years of experience in tutoring or teaching English and Maths
- Knowledge of SEN strategies and best practises
- Strong organisational and time management skills
Working Conditions:
- Part-Time hours, with flexibility in scheduling
- Work may be conducted in school settings, student homes, or online
- Collaborative work with school staff, parents, and educational professionals

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
